In May 1998, we started Embassy-Express BV to assist Dutch and Belgian companies with the legalisation process.

Initially, our most important tools were city maps, fax machines, cars without power steering assistence, and landline telephones.

To this day, we still visit the ministries and embassies in The Hague and Brussels in person every day. We have only had to skip one day in that entire period due to the coronavirus.

Our company has grown, enabling us to always offer a suitable solution for legalisation. This gives you peace of mind and the certainty that your documents will be handled correctly.

1990

The beginning

In the 1990s, we witnessed companies struggling with complex legalisation processes. Long waiting times and unclear procedures at embassies delayed international plans.

1998

The launch of Embassy Express

We started with one mission: to simplify legalisation for companies in the Netherlands and Belgium. You no longer need to worry about delays or embassy requirements.

2005

The progress

The first few years were characterised by innovation and relationship building. We developed efficient procedures and built up a strong network at embassies in The Hague and Brussels. This means your documents are processed faster and more efficiently.

2025

The transformation

From a single client, we have grown into a leading service provider in the Benelux, processing over 75,000 documents annually. We are the only agency that visits all embassies in the Netherlands and Belgium with our own consular couriers. This ensures that your documents do not fall into the wrong hands.
